We’ll travel through the Somme region, stopping at some of the most famous sites on the battlefield. Walk through original trenches at Beaumont Hamel and see the staggering Thiepval Memorial to the Missing where the names of 72,000 men who have no known grave are beautifully inscribed.

The beautiful City of Reims will be home. Take a walking tour of the City to understand the military and cultural history.

Indulge in a full day tour of the Champagne region, visiting a family vineyard in the Montagne de Reims followed by a tasting in the Marne Valley. Enjoy lunch amongst the vines or in a bistro followed by a private tour of the Dom Perignon cellars.

On the way back to the UK, why not stop at Vimy Ridge to discuss the 1917 Allied assault around Arras.
